I believe this book had great potential but the story line got to quick pace and is unbelievable. "Stop Reading here if you don't want to spoil your story". So these two boys get kidnapped to a magical world where one of them is told he will kill the evil wizard because he is descended from a long line of mages, after instantly agreeing with the kidnapper they go on a trek to a kingdom where the kid can learn about magic to defeat the evil wizard, after spending one night in the kingdom and learning all he can about magic the kid goes on the hunt for the evil wizard and his army because he is totally ready after one night of training.
These are what hurt a story most for me.
1.Instant acceptance of fate, Like when getting kidnapped and accepting whatever happens.
2.Learning a skill in less than one day and thinking your ready to take on anything like an evil mage.
3.What made me sad about this book was how the mage kid agrees to everything he's told to do.
I loved this story! Masterfully written! Hope there's more to Kade's adventures soon!

I always love the idea of other worlds and reading a story about a world that author has created for you to imagine in your own mind. It's a good escape! I thought the characters were very well developed and that the story was very creative, fun, kept you interested and had lots of great elements. It was also edited very clean and I rarely noticed any flaws. I can't wait to see this author write more stories!
I really enjoyed this book it has a really good story and killer characters. The book kept me interested threw out the whole story and I finished it in one sitting. This is one nook I would recommend.
This book is not in the genre that I normally read but it really pulled me in. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and finished it in two sittings. Not a normal occurrence when I start a book. The diversity of the characters and how they developed kept my attention and never allowed for a dull moment while reading. I was happy that the author finished the book with the possible beginning of a follow on book because I am looking forward to reading more of the stories with the great character pool from this book. I will be keeping an eye out for the next title from this author.
